International Students Program
Ningbo University is one of the 100 Chinese universities which are officially
authorized the qualification by MOE for the recruitment of international
students sponsored by government scholarships. We offer a variety of education
programs for foreign students, ranging from short-term Chinese language
training to undergraduate study and postgraduate study. Over 1,000 international
students from about 40 countries and areas have benefited from these well-designed
programs.
The International Students Program boasts a faculty of experienced Chinese
language teachers, 15 of whom hold the qualification certificates of Teaching
Chinese as Foreign Language. A bachelor degree program of Chinese Language
and an English medium bachelor program of International Business Administration
are offered specially for international students, and an HSK Examination
Center is authorized by Hanban for operation here. Meanwhile, links with
a number of overseas institutions are strengthened for cooperation and
exchanges. Currently the university is embarking on the construction of
a Chinese language and culture training center, and an overseas Confucius
Institute.
